Clown Alley
The Knockabout Act
All An Act by Sean Michael Welch
Petunia and Merkin grew up together, went to school together, and became circus clowns together. One drunken evening of sexual indiscretion has caused Merkin to avoid her, creating a rift in both their professional and personal lives. When Merkin finally breaks his silence, Petunia lets him know that she has become pregnant. Between her bipolar issues and his alcoholic tendencies, the decisions they make could very well do permanent damage to their friendship.
