Such a huge couple of days for us here. Preview night was a really nice environment to get the show set in the new space. And our World Premier Opening Night Extravaganza was more than we could have ever hoped for. We had some friends from Heaven's Gate come by, and they loved the show. We also had what we think was a high school troop performing at The Fringe come by, a good six or so kids, raucous audience members(much more of a good thing than a bad thing tonight). And after meeting him today at Meet the Media at Edinburgh Fringe Central, the Arts Editor of The Scotsman, the biggest Scottish newspaper, came by to check out the show since he was "in the area." He took notes and we're hoping we may get in an article or review with them soon. Meanwhile we continue to dress up and paper various parts of the city with our advertisements, and every day more and more people know about All an Act. It's a trip, and we have plenty of media coming in in the next week to put up a few more reviews, interviews, and articles. We love FRINGE!!!! Thank you everybody for giving us this opportunity, not a bit of it has been wasted on us!!!

And in case you haven't already, check out a little ditty we made to show you our daily trip to our theatre from our apartment, entitled "Weebly Goes to Rehearsal."

What a day in the royal city of Edinburgh. Found out that walking across town to get groceries was about as pointless as a bicycle with one wheel. The city is growing as more and more shows arrive and put up posters. Met some cool folks at a mojito party for participants in the Fringe, and got to make our own mojitos, and pass out a couple flyers we printed ourselves because of some delays on our posters and flyers. But posters get finished tomorrow and you can bet yer bonnet they will be up all over Edinburgh, and we'll be on the Royal Mile in full regalia getting butts in seats for the preview night of All an Act tomorrow, August 3rd at 22:30. Edinburgh skyline at sunset is another thing to love.

But get ready for tomorrow, when we bring you the highly anticipated and critically pre-acclaimed two or three or four depending on what we get done minutes in the life of the star of our show, Mr. Weebly himself. Sure to break records in the box office of your face.

Edinburgh Fringe is in full effect in t-minus 8 hours! Let the games begin!

The All an Act team has officially made it to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012! We couldn't have done this without the support and love of our friends, fans, and family. Thank you from the bottomest, weirdest parts of our variably-sized hearts for your undying generosity. We will continue to Tweet, Facebook, and blog about the show as it happens, and we'll hopefully have some treats for you along the way. So subscribe now if you want to see the journey we take at the BIGGEST THEATRE FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD!!! We even got a rainbow over the Royal Mile within an hour of our arrival there. Is it a sign? Wait and see...

Our final payment is almost in to TheSpaceUK! 34 days to go and we can smell the fringe like petunia's smelly ol' tutu.

Thanks to the irrepressibly generous Johnny Lim at Siegel+Gale, All an Act has some incredible new designs for the posters and flyers that will be taking Edinburgh by storm come this August. Check them out!

The new set. About 16x9, yikes! We're problem solvers...

After a series of discussions and auditions, the role of Petunia will be handled in Edinburgh by the eminently capable Kathleen O'Neal. Kathleen is another graduate of ASDS, check out more about her on our info page. We look forward to remounting the production with Kathleen's involvement.

And of course, we owe a lot to Kay Capasso, who originated the role. Kay's dedication and ingenuity made it possible for us to aim so high.

Here we go again!

Hey there friends! We finished school at the Actors Studio Drama School, and guess what! Our show was a hit! Everyone enjoyed it or was disturbed by it immensely. Even James Lipton, host of Inside the Actors Studio, personally congratulated us and offered his blessing as we try to get to Edinburgh. We've added some of the photos of the show on the photo page. And we still need help getting to Edinburgh, most of our bills are due on July 1st, about $6000 worth of them, so if you have it in you, or your pocket book, check out our Donations Page.

Love,

Merkin Petunia
